as the poems go into the thousands you
realize that you've created very
little.
it comes down to the rain, the sunlight,
the traffic, the nights and the days of the
years, the faces.
leaving this will be easier than living
it, typing one more line now as
a man plays a piano through the radio,
the best writers have said very
little
and the worst,
far too much.
Poems like that make me want to say as little as possible. As well as that one Twilight critique I read on dA (deviantArt). Things like adverbs and repeated words are a no-no. Flash fiction and poems by Charles Bukowski and my FF (FanFiction) friends all inspire me with my writing.
And, as far as my stories go, I think that they are improving.
Maybe it is because I fill entire notebooks with marker-letters, daily.
It's therapy, I guess.
The tab key's stopped working.
I'm debating whether or not to..
Ok. I will.
It is a haiku.
In case you were wondering what I was debating about.
But maybe I was debating whether or not I should go eat some soup...?
Ahem!
Chicken noodle soupIn a bowl with a small spoonIs heaven before...Eleven.
So I cheated. Only a little.
:)
